HOW DID YOU MEET?

We met online on “Ok Cupid” in 2013. We then saw each other for the first time downtown Annapolis by the docks. Love at first sight. We are married now almost 5 years. Connie is a pediatric RN for Children’s National Hospital in DC. Bill is a software manager in Rockville.  

 

TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAMILY

Connie has 30 year old twin boys who are 6’4 and 5’8, Josh and Brad. They are very different in size and personality but both are lawyers.  No grandchildren as of yet...Bill has Elizabeth, who is 22 years old. Elizabeth just graduated from UMD as a mechanical engineer. She works for a major tool company.  All children are off our payrolls! We don’t have any pets due to work and travel. Connie threatens to get a dog every week ...

WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT ROCKVILLE?

We just moved to Rockville this summer from Annapolis. We love our now shorter commutes and all the fun things to do here.  Our apartment is small and super easy to care for. Bill says he will not miss raking leaves and mowing the lawn. Unfortunately ,we are paying for a storage unit since downsizing is not so easy.

HOW DO YOU HOPE TO SERVE THE CHURCH?

We are open to help the church where there is need. Connie especially likes to work with kids.

SHARE A CHRISTMAS MEMORY!

Bills favorite Christmas memory is at age 8.  Santa brought a basketball. His dad  then told him there is a new basketball hoop outside. His dad had to shovel the driveway and then they played!  Connie’s favorite memories were when her twins left Santa and the reindeer , cookies, milk and carrots. The next morning ,they came bolting downstairs to see what Santa had left.

 

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE CHRISTMAS TRADITION TO SHARE TOGETHER

Bill and Connie give each other a trip for Christmas. This year, it’s Cancun! 

 

ANYTHING FAVORITE CHRISTMAS MOVIES?

Connie loves Charlie Brown’s Christmas. Bill likes Christmas Vacation and It’s a Wonderful Life.

ANYTHING FUN YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE WITH THE CHURCH?

We are excited to join RUMC. We love hearing Paster Martha at the 8:30 service. The people we have met are very warm and loving. Bill’s hobby is football, football and more football!
